In association with the Alzheimer‘s Association of the National Capital Area, Waterfront Village provides transportation for Full Members to the monthly support group for those caring with loved ones living with Alzheimer‘s Disease.
Suggested by the Henry James novel, Washington Square, the play centers on a socially awkward woman with a disapproving father. An unexpected visitor awakens Catherine’s smothered hopes and helps her recover her strength and use her voice.

Enjoy a taste of sunny Italy this Valentine‘s Day with lunch at Lupo Marino, offering rustic Italian fare in a waterside setting inspired by the Amalfi coast. Specialties include small plates, pizzas, paninis, salads, and pastas.

Join Villagers in exploring some off-the-beaten path sites in our very own District of Columbia. This month, we will visit Anacostia, starting with Cedar Hill, the Fredrick Douglass estate, and then the Smithsonian‘s Anacostia Community Museum.
