The privacy and convenience of your home
Waterfront Village male members may take advantage of our monthly home barbering service the second Monday of each month with appointments between 9am and noon. Haircut $30, haircut/shave $35. Contact Lesley Bryant at 202-368-4603 to schedule.
Following a talk on hearing health, improvements to hearing aides, and the dangers of untreated hearing loss, free screenings will be offered. Recommended for all Members 60+. A tour of the new Riverside Baptist Church will be offered at 1030am.

"Empresses of China‘s Forbidden City, 1644-1912," provides a look into the public and private lives of imperial women. This first-ever exhibition focuses on five empresses to reveal their influence on arts, religion, politics, and diplomacy.
Whether or not you attend the Empresses of China‘s Forbidden City exhibit tour at the Sackler Gallery, feel free to enjoy a pot of tea and your choice of dessert at the elegant Empress Lounge.

Join Villagers in exploring some off-the-beaten-path sites in our very own District of Columbia. Watch for the explorations on the second Wednesday, every other month. We will often have an optional lunch after the activity.
Politics and Prose on The Wharf
Members gather at Politics and Prose on the Wharf to discuss a book -- sometimes fiction and sometimes nonfiction. The group gathers the third Thursday afternoon of the month.
G St SW location to be advised upon registration
Village members gather for a meal hosted by Cooks Crew with tasty homemade food, friendship, great conversation, a chance to learn more about the Cooks Crew. Attendees bring a side dish, dessert, or beverage for 8 people, or help with clean-up.
Waterfront Village is offering Full Members the opportunity for unwanted electronic equipment (televisions, computers, small appliances) to be taken to the District‘s solid waste disposal site. Simply reply to this email to schedule your pick-up.

Waterfront Village facilitates a monthly support group gathering for those caring for loved ones managing Alzheimer‘s Disease. Free and open to all.
Did you know rowing is great exercise for people with arthritis and osteoporosis? Learn about this and many other benefits of rowing at a free class for Village members. Light refreshments will be offered, and you may also observe the class.
